As of May 1st, 2007, applications for the Candidature of US Capital of Culture 2010 are available

Any city in the USA with a population of more than fifty thousand inhabitants may submit an application to be the next US Capital of Culture.

Also, any state capital (including Washington DC,) with a population of fewer than fifty thousand inhabitants may submit an application to be the next US Capital of Culture.

All interested cities should request an application for the Candidature for US Capital of Culture via e-mail at the following address: info@culturalcapital.us
